Tetra Pak is a pioneer in the field of aseptic packaging and processing technology. Aseptic packaging technology can extend the shelf life of food at room temperature without the need for preservatives, greatly improving the safety and convenience of food. After its introduction in the 1960s, this technology changed the mode of food packaging and distribution, and was hailed by the Food Technology Society as one of the most important food packaging innovations of the 20th century.
Overview of Brick Packaging
Tetra Pak bricks are mainly composed of paper, aluminum foil, and polyethylene plastic composite. Specifically, the composition of Tetra Pak bricks includes a six layer structure: the outer layer is paper, the middle layer is aluminum foil, and the inner layer is polyethylene plastic.
The design of this six layer composite structure is aimed at effectively blocking all factors that affect the spoilage of milk and beverages, such as bacteria, toxins, oxygen, microorganisms, ultraviolet radiation, and moisture, thereby achieving the effects of quality, freshness, nutrition, and deliciousness preservation. In addition, the content of high-quality pulp, aluminum, and plastic with long fibers in the packaging materials of Tetra Pak bricks is about 75%, 5%, and 20%, respectively
The pouring process of Tetra Pak bricks is sealed. First, milk is poured into a paper tube, and then cut and closed to ensure aseptic operation. This packaging method allows milk to be stored at room temperature with a shelf life of over one year
Working principle of brick filling machine
Firstly, the packaging material is fed into the machine from the roll. Packaging materials are usually made of paper, aluminum foil, and polyethylene.
Then, the packaging material is molded into the desired shape. Packaging materials can be molded into various shapes, including square, circular, and hexagonal.
Next, the product is filled into the packaging. Products can be filled by weight or volume.
Finally, the packaging is sealed. Packaging can be sealed by hot melt, cold sealing, or other methods.
