Product Application
Data reception and processing: Firstly, the computer or control system converts the date, time, batch number and other information that needs to be printed into digital signals, which are transmitted to the control unit of the laser marking machine.
Laser generation: The control unit activates the laser, which emits a high-energy laser beam. The wavelength of the laser beam is selected based on the material of the marked object to ensure the best marking effect.
Beam control: In order to form the desired date or pattern on the surface of an object, the laser beam needs to be controlled by a series of optical components (such as reflectors, lenses, scanning heads, etc.). This includes adjusting the direction and focal length of the beam, as well as achieving precise positioning and pattern drawing of the object surface through a high-speed scanning galvanometer system.
Surface material modification: When the laser beam is focused on the surface of an object, its high energy can cause instantaneous evaporation or chemical reactions of the surface material, resulting in the formation of contrasting marks on the material surface. This process may involve physical removal of materials (such as ablation), material discoloration, or formation of oxide layers, depending on the type of laser and the properties of the labeled material.
Cooling and cleaning: During the laser marking process, a small amount of heat may be generated, and some high-end laser marking machines are equipped with cooling systems to protect the marked objects and equipment. After marking is completed, clean the object as needed, especially for fine machining areas with special requirements.
